Erin Carlson

It has always been a desire of mine to work in an environment where the work is so immersive, you lose yourself within the effort. Creative opportunities and expression of imagination struck a cord within me at an early age. From the time I was 10 years old, touching an Ice Wall at the ‘Titanic’ exhibit at the Seattle Science Center, to standing in the middle of Main Street Disneyland at Christmas time, smelling the gingerbread cooking, I knew that I wanted to be a part of that... I wanted to bring those types of experiences to others, the way they had been brought to me.

So, I immersed myself in art. As time passed and I developed particular skills, I decided

that I was especially fond of lighting. And from the moment I focused my first fixture 

to programming my first show and then designing an entire lighting plot; I was a goner. I had found my calling, I had found my immersive environment.

So who am I?

I'm Erin...  A lighting designer, programmer and technician. I'm an all around nerd who does not like boredom and can never say no to a fun and challenging project. But more importantly, I love art and those moments that are given to us because of art.
